badassvegetarian asked: I would say I have quite a taste for beer. If you're affiliated/own/work with the Deep Ellum Brewing Company I'd really like to know where they're located and whether or not they offer tastings and tours.

I’m not affiliated with Deep Ellum Brewing Company (yet), but I have to say that I’m one of their biggest stans here in town, so I can definitely answer any DEBC questions.

They definitely do tours as well that are well worth the price of admission (pint glass and 3 pints of beer for a $10 ticket).  From what I understand, they do tours every Saturday depending on demand (i.e. weather).  The staff is very responsive through their facebook page and they are now requiring people to pre-register for tours online so they have an idea on who much beer/staff they need.  The tours take place at their brick and mortar location at 2821 St. Louis Street, Dallas, TX 75226.  It’s in Deep Ellum (obvi) on the South Side past Commerce and Canton.

If you get the opportunity to try some of their stuff, I would recommend the Double Brown Stout, Festivus Winter Lager, or the IPA.
