2012 MLB Predictions

Here are my very, very early predictions for the 2012 MLB season.  They’ll probably be adjusted some during Spring Training and before first pitch of Opening Day, so take these with a grain of salt.  I just wanted to break down some baseball numbers during lunch.

AL East - Tampa Bay Rays

AL Central - Detroit Tigers

AL West - Texas Rangers

AL Wild Card - Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim

NL East - Philadelphia Phillies

NL Central - St Louis Cardinals

NL West - Arizona Diamondbacks

NL Wild Card - Miami Marlins

AL Rookie of the Year - Yu Darvish

NL Rookie of the Year - Bryce Harper

AL Cy Young - Justin Verlander

NL Cy Young - Cliff Lee

AL MVP - Adrian Gonzalez

NL MVP - Justin Upton

Yes, imagine a postseason with neither the Red Sox or the Yankees.  I’ll break down my rotation and position players by ranking later next month. HOT STOVE FEVER! CATCH IT!
