If anyone wants to waste $540, the Rangers are selling the bench from the center bleachers that was one row in front of my season tickets. Here’s some highlights of its great history on it that I can share with my one season next to it:
- The back is incredibly flimsy. It’s almost like a reclining chair. In a bad way.
- A lot of obese people have sat there since it’s right on the aisle. This is pretty common for the bleachers seats, but more so for this particular row.
- A Baptist church group once shoved at least 6 people into a 4 seat space on this row.
- A group of Red Sox fans bought seats here and used them for a grand total of 4 innings before leaving.
- I spilled a melted snow cone on the end of it.
- This row was pretty much empty during the Summer, so me and my friends used it as a footrest.
So, if you have $540 to spare, consider buying the broken bleacher row that I used as a footrest last season when it was not filled with fairweather fans or Baptists.
