You’ve got Beltre that high? Is that your Rangers fandom kicking in or is that what non kool aid drinking people say too? He’s keeper eligible for me and I was on the fence.
James brings up an interesting point. What is anyone going to do with this 3B class? Hanley Ramirez and Miguel Cabrera are probably both making the jump to 3B, but everyone knows that they won’t make it out of the 1st round in most 10-12 team leagues. Behind that what do you have?
The 3Bs that I have ranked after that are Longoria, Beltre, Youk, and Wright. All of those players are being taken in the late 3rd to 4th rounds in 12 team and higher drafts. After that, the drop off is immense unless you’re in a league where Bautista is 3B eligible.
For me Rangers fandom did kick in a bit, but also seeing that he’s probably going to be batting cleanup for 3 high OBP players ahead of him (assuming that Hambone doesn’t clear it out before him). Thus, seeing only Beltre and Youk on the board when it came back to me, I decided that I didn’t want to gamble and have to take ARod when it came back around. Because fuck that guy.
