So, on Sunday my homebrew club participated in BrewRiot Homebrew Competition in the Bishop Arts district in Dallas. Though we didn’t get a medal (which really doesn’t matter because it isn’t BJCP judging standards), we got some fantastic notes from people in the industry that we respect immensely (a couple head brewmasters from some local breweries, a third tier market head, and even an owner of a large local brewery.) All in all, this was a fantastic confidence boost for us and the beer that we make. By this time next year, we’ll have the signage, possible merch, and a full marketing campaign to help promote the beer we literally get no money for making.
